Our Riders and Special Achievements
Carol Mueller and Jazz's Duet
Carol and her Gypsy Vanner mare Duet made the switch from traditional English Dressage to Western Dressage in 2015. In 2016 they showed a very successful season together at Basic Level. With consistent scores in the high 60's and low to mid 70's they won two high score's of the day show awards, The Pacific Equestrian Center 2016 Series High Point Championship, and ranked 3rd in the 2015 CAWDA Basic Level Amateur Division and 4th in the over-all standings.
Carol and Duet "tested the water" and showed First level test one in 2017 and scored a 74%. They competed at Level One for the 2018 season receiving a 70%.
In 2019 Carol and Duet were the 2019 CAWDA 1st Level State Reserve Champions and achieved their Bronze Medal! They earned and a very respectable 5th place in the CAWDA Amateur State high point standings. Sadly due to COVID-19 the show season came to a halt for our show team. Carol is currently riding Level Two in 2021.

Stacy Sutton & Jazz's Duet
In early 2020, Stacy and Duet had their debut at 2nd level, winning a 74.2% and High score of the Day! Sadly due to COVID-19 the show season came to a halt for our show team.
In spring of 2021, Stacy completed her final Second level score and in only two shows also completed both Third Level scores earning her CAWDA silver medal.
After a wonderful 13 year client relationship and friendship, Carol and Duet are starting an exciting new chapter in Pennsylvania. We will miss them very much and wish them much love and happiness together!

David Rude and Stacy's beautiful Drum horse mare Glimmer won the 2022 CAWDA Western Dressage Introductory Level Open Championship, the Open Musical Freestyle, and the Drum Horse breed Championship.
Glimmer and Stacy are competed at Basic Level in 2022 with a short season before Vineyard Oak's relocation to Oregon.
Stacy will show Glimmer First Level in 2023.

Roxanne Bishop & Starfire's The Highroller
Roxanne is a past Dressage rider and purchased Yahtzee in 2021. This special pair are new to the Western Dressage discipline. They have kicked off 2021 at the Introductory Level with a bang. In her first show with Yahtzee, Roxanne won both her classes and the Western Dressage High Point of the day with a score of 80%!

Sherry Duke & Raige
This special pair had their Western Dressage showing debut in 2021 at the Introductory Level just before Raige was retired from showing at the age of 28!
Sherry is currently working on getting her young horse Bailey ready for Western Dressage shows in the future.

Stacy Sutton and Starfire's The Highroller
"Yahtzee" and Stacy started the 2019 show season at the Introductory Level and moved up to Basic Level during the season.
In 2019, Stacy and Yahtzee were the CAWDA Champions at Introductory Level. In just two shows, they earned the 2019 Open Basic Level Reserve Championship and a respectable 6th place in the CAWDA Open State high point standings.
Sadly due to COVID-19 the show season came to a halt for our show team. Yahtzee has been sold to his new owner Roxanne Bishop and Roxanne and Yahtzee won the 2021 Introductory Year End Championship. In 2022 Stacy successfully rode Yahtzee in his second level show debut.

Stacy successfully show campaigned Judith Malkasian's Gypsy Vanner gelding Bert for three years.
In 2017, Bert was the CAWDA 2017 Open Introductory State Champion. They won two show high score awards and received scores in the 70's and 80's throughout the season. Bert and Stacy have won Western Dressage classes at the Gypsy Breed Shows and enjoy in participating in Western Dressage demonstrations.
In 2018, Bert and Stacy had a tremendously successful show season. Halfway through the show season, Bert quickly became #1 in the CAWDA 2018 Open Basic Level and Open Level Champion standings and maintained these positions to year end, and winning the 2018 Open State Championship buckle. Stacy and Bert 2018 CAWDA Gypsy Vanner breed highscore award. They participated in Western Dressage demonstrations such as the Western States Horse Exposition.
Stacy and Bert had the honor of attending the WDAA World Show at the Lazy E in Oklahoma together. Bert placed a respectable 8th in the Open Basic Level division out of 34 competitors. Stacy and Bert won the WDAA Gypsy Vanner Breed Highscore Award at the show.
In 2019 Bert and Stacy competed at 1st Level and developed a fun Western Dressage Musical Freestyle. They won the 2019 CAWDA Open Division Reserve State Championship, the First Level Reserve Championship, and were State Champions in the 2020 Open Musical Freestyle! During their competition Stacy and Bert achieved both the WDAA Register of Merit and the WDAA Register of Achievement Awards in the WDAA Lifetime points and Awards Program at the Western Dressage Rated Shows.
Bert has been retired from the Vineyard Oak Dressage Show program and we wish Bert and Judith much happiness together in the future!

Since 2015, Stacy and her horse Finian have shown both traditional English Dressage and Western Dressage and have consistently won the Western Dressage classes at Gypsy Breed Shows. They made the official switch to Western Dressage in 2017.
In just 3 shows, they received scores in the 70's, and 80's and have won a show high score award. Finian won the CAWDA 2017 Open Basic Level standings and Stacy and Finian were the 2017 Open Reserve Champions. Stacy and Finian won the year-end CDS Valley Oaks Chapter High score award for the 2017 season. Finian is showing first level and schooling second. In 2018 Finian was sold to a new loving owner and will be missed at Vineyard Oak.

Sunday and her 15 year old Paint/Quarter horse gelding Boogie successfully showed Introductory Level in 2015 and Basic Level in 2016. In 2016 Sunday won the CAWDA Youth 14-17 Basic Level division AND won the buckle for the CAWDA Youth 14-17 Over-All High Point Championship!
Sunday and Boogie participated in Western Dressage demonstrations and have shown First Level in 2017 before moving on to college in Fall of 2017.

Stephanie showed Western Dressage with Boogie at the Intro Level in 2017. At their first show together, they achieved scores of 69% and 70%, and winning the high score of the day!
Boogie was sold shortly after this show and we wish him all the best with his new owner!

Monte is a long time beloved school horse at Vineyard Oak Dressage and is also the first horse Stacy competed in the Western Dressage discipline when it was first introduced and before there were any State awards programs.
Monte is an 18 year old grade Quarter Horse gelding and up to his recent placement in a forever retirement home with two loving little girls, Monte was still being ridden and shown by riders at Vineyard Oak Dressage.
Monte is a prime example of how schooling correct Western Dressage training helps horses stay sound and happy for many, many years!
